Bay Area Soulful Rock Singer, Kimberlee, Performs For The 20th Annual KGO Leukemia CURE-A-THON With EvenNow

Saturday, March 18th, Midnight - 1:00 AM

Nearly a year and a half ago, South of San Francisco based band, Kimberlee and EvenNow was formed for the specific purpose of "singing to benefit others". The focus for this group’s coming together was centered on raising money for different benevolent causes throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as the world by using their God given talents.

Once again, they are donating their time and talent and have teamed up with the Northern California Leukemia Society of America to help raise money to fund a cure for Leukemia and related cancers. On March 18th from

12 Midnight to 1:00 AM, they will be performing live on KGO Newstalk 810 AM Radio and ABC-7 for one of the largest broadcast events in the country, the 20th Annual KGO Leukemia CURE-A-THON. The event will be a 24-hour, commercial-free radio pledge and auction where every dollar raised will go directly to the Leukemia Society. The CURE-A-THON will feature KGO personalities, celebrities, sports figures, political leaders, comedy, and live music from bands like Kimberlee and EvenNow.

Over the past 19 years, KGO Radio has raised over $6.5 million for the Northern California Leukemia Society of America. One hundred percent of that money goes directly to fund research programs because KGO Radio, ABC-7, and other volunteers like Kimberlee and EvenNow absorb all expenses.

Kimberlee and EvenNow are an ideal act for the CURE-A-THON because of their dedication to helping others. They have proven to appeal to all generations due to their infectious warmth and vulnerability -- a characteristic they are known for in their live shows. This Rockin’ SoulFolk band includes Kimberlee (vocals/guitar), Rob Lewallen (vocals/lead guitar), Tim Williams (bass/vocals) and Matthias D’Autremont (drums).

In addition to hearing them live on March 18th at the KGO Studios in San Francisco for the CURE-A-THON, you can also hear them on Kimberlee’s recent inspiring debut album, Learning How To Love. The EP contains five of her original songs recorded with South Bay session musicians and EvenNow. It is currently available at Amazon.com, selected stores throughout the Bay Area, and Kimberlee’s website, www.Kimberleemusic.com.
